Swaraj Samwad

Three-day Hind Swaraj camp in village Karjain, Raghopur in Saharsa Distict of Bihar, January 20-22, 2004. The number of participants swelled from initial 50 odd to about 150 by the next day with almost half of them women.

One meeting was organized in Saharsa, Bihar, while Rajiv Vora was returning from Karjain (Raghopur). A group of teachers, social worker, writers, activists have come forward to organize Hind Swaraj programme in their area.

A two-day consultation was held in Delhi on March 20-21, 2004 with 25 people (including women) from Saharanpur, Rampur, Moradabad, Biharigarh, Bijnor, Jalaun and Delhi.
The consultation decided:
- To continue the process of dialogue;
- To hold meetings in all the 11 places listed above;
- To enlist at least two from each place for an intensive study-session on Hind Swaraj.
- To hold Hind Swaraj study-camp in Mussouri, June 20-25 th;
- To organize youth-camps;
- To conduct such dialogue under the name of Swaraj Samvad;
- Appointed six local coordinators and one general coordinator for conducting dialogues in all these places and for selecting from those places candidates for Shanti Sena;
- Shri Arshad Qureshi of the Tahreek Association was unanimously selected as the Coordinator of the Coordinators Committee.

Public dialogue on Communalism, Nationalism and Secularism in Muradabad, Rurkee, Bijnaur, Saharanpur, Deoband. Consultation with V.C. of Darul Uloom Deoband and Maulvio and head of Mazahir Uloom, Saharanpur .
- Two days consultation with Western-UP coordinators and Delhi Communal Harmony group on Hind Swaraj and Swaraj Samwad was held on 12-13 February 2005. In the meeting it was decided that Shanti Sena will be launched on the occasion of birthday of Satyagraha, 11 September, 2005.
- Rajiv Vora tour Saharanpur.
- Hind Swaraj Study camp, 27-30 March, 2005 was conducted in the premises of Gandhi Peace Foundation. 30 selected people from Saharanpur, Muradabad, Rampur, Bijnor, Biharigad, Bhojpur and Delhi participated. These are the main organizers of Swaraj-Dialogue on communalism, nationalism, nonviolence and peace in their respective areas.
